We have excellent experience of and support for applications. The group is very active in supporting strong applicants that wish to apply for training in our lab or Ph.D. Scholarships or Postdoctoral Fellowships (e.g. Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, Newton International Research Fellowships). We will support you strongly in both writing the proposal and preparing for the interview (when is applicable). Fully funded Ph.D. studentships cover the cost of Home/EU fees, an annual maintenance grant (at the RCUK specified rate) plus a contribution towards research costs. You can get funding for postgraduate study through loans, studentships, bursaries and grants - you might also get help from your employer.
Industrial MPhil & Ph.D. Schemes: If you are considering postgraduate study that is related to your job, it is worth researching funding schemes your employer may have. This a convenient approach to work for a relevant and interesting MPhil or Ph.D. whilst in full time employment and funded by your employer.
